Because a successful business is built first and foremost on a solid foundation, COMMAN-YA, in partnership with EUMC-WUSC, brought together 10 women entrepreneurs for the BANKABLE program, an initiative dedicated to strengthening their entrepreneurial, financial, and business skills.

Over the course of two days, the participants experienced much more than just a training session. They shared their experiences, discussed the realities they face as entrepreneurs, and acquired practical tools to grow their businesses with greater structure, confidence, and vision.

Building a company that inspires trust

Securing financing, growing a business, or winning over new partners isn’t just about having a good idea. A business must also be structured, organized, and able to demonstrate its viability.

Based on this belief, COMMAN-YA designed the BANKABLE program, offering a practical training course that helps participants better understand the requirements for bankability and the fundamentals of effective management.

Through a series of workshops, the entrepreneurs learned how to better organize their businesses, track their cash flow, analyze their costs, and improve their companies’ profitability.

Learning by Doing

The program’s pedagogical approach emphasized hands-on learning. Case studies, individual exercises, group work, and role-playing exercises were integrated throughout the various sessions to ensure that each participant left with tools she could apply directly to her work.

The modules focused in particular on :

  • understanding bankability criteria;

  • financial management and cash flow monitoring;

  • cost calculation and improving profitability;

  • strategies for generating more sales;

  • customer retention and securing payments.

Each topic has been designed to address the daily challenges faced by women entrepreneurs and to help them make more informed decisions as they grow their businesses.

Beyond training : a change in attitude

One of the key messages of the BANKABLE program is that a successful business is not based solely on its revenue, but also on the quality of its organization, its ability to anticipate future developments, and the trust it inspires in its partners.

By developing their proficiency in management tools, participants enhance their credibility with financial institutions, suppliers, and customers.

This development represents a crucial step toward transforming an entrepreneurial venture into a sustainable business capable of seizing new growth opportunities.

COMMAN-YA : A Long-Term Commitment to Women Entrepreneurs

Through the BANKABLE program, COMMAN-YA continues its mission to support women on their path to sustainable economic independence.

Every day, the NGO works to provide women entrepreneurs with learning spaces, networking opportunities, and programs tailored to real-world conditions, enabling them to build businesses that are more resilient, more competitive, and better prepared for the challenges of tomorrow.

Because behind every growing business is a woman who dares to learn, challenge herself, and move forward, COMMAN-YA is proud to have supported this new cohort of participants on their journey toward bankability.

To all the participants, we extend our most sincere congratulations and wish them every success as they continue their entrepreneurial journey.
