On Friday, December 8, 2023, the participants in COMMAN-YA’s KIDY Program cohort had the opportunity to experience an exceptional immersion at the Nouvelle Brasserie de Côte d’Ivoire (NBCI), located in Bonoua.

This educational visit allowed the young women to explore the modern production lines of two iconic brands: PLANET soft drinks and ASSINIE mineral water, both widely distributed throughout the Ivorian market.

Beyond the tour of the facilities, it was a true lesson in entrepreneurship. The participants were surprised to learn that NBCI is a rapidly expanding Malian company that is gradually succeeding in conquering the West African subregion thanks to the quality of its products and an ambitious strategy.

This was an inspiring revelation for the members of COMMAN-YA, who work to promote women’s empowerment and leadership through training and support programs such as the KIDY Program. This experience helped them overcome certain obstacles and reinforce their vision of themselves as ambitious, go-getter women.

NBCI’s senior management warmly welcomed the delegation and shared its vision for sustainable development and regional expansion. This exchange highlighted the importance of strategic partnerships between large corporations and local initiatives like COMMAN-YA, which support women entrepreneurs in building their skills.
