A platform dedicated to promoting women entrepreneurs

On May 29 and 30, 2026, COMMAN-YA organized the 5th edition of its market event titled “The Queens' Table” an event that has become a must-attend for promoting women’s entrepreneurship in Côte d’Ivoire. Held in celebration of Mother’s Day, this initiative aimed to honor women entrepreneurs, creators, project leaders, and all those who contribute daily to the economic and social development of their communities.

Over the course of two days, entrepreneurs, visitors, partners, and families gathered in a friendly atmosphere to discover local products, share experiences, and create new opportunities for collaboration.

A Positive Impact for Participating Women Entrepreneurs

The 2026 edition once again demonstrated the importance of creating spaces dedicated to promoting women entrepreneurs.

Among the key impacts observed :

  • Increased visibility for participating brands;

  • New opportunities for networking and partnerships;

  • A stronger sense of belonging to a community of women entrepreneurs;

  • Showcasing local women’s expertise;

  • Promoting local and responsible consumption.

The event also allowed COMMAN-YA to strengthen its position as an organization committed to supporting and highlighting women entrepreneurs.

Enhanced communication to reach a wider audience

To promote the event, several outreach initiatives were carried out in the lead-up to the event. A community outreach campaign including the distribution of flyers, door to door visits, and street activities was complemented by an active presence on social media.

During the six weeks leading up to the event, various photos and videos were posted on Facebook and Instagram to engage exhibitors and the public.

This strategy helped increase the event’s visibility and raise awareness of La Table des Reines among new audiences.

Toward Even More Ambitious Editions

Building on the success of this fifth edition, COMMAN-YA is already exploring several areas for improvement for future editions. The goal is, in particular, to strengthen impact measurement, expand media partnerships, further streamline the organization, and broaden the event’s reach through new communication channels.

More than just a marketplace, The Queens' Table continues to build a true ecosystem dedicated to women’s economic empowerment, the recognition of their talents, and the promotion of women’s entrepreneurship.

Through The Queens' Table, COMMAN-YA reaffirms its mission: to create concrete opportunities for women entrepreneurs, enhance their visibility, and encourage their growth.

This 2026 edition demonstrates once again that when women have access to appropriate spaces for expression, promotion, and networking, they become powerful drivers of growth, innovation, and social transformation.

We’re already looking forward to the next edition of The Queens' Table, with the goal of reaching even more women, partners, and communities.

A painting workshop to celebrate moms with the whole family

Because “The Queens' Table” was also intended to be a time for sharing and celebration around Mother’s Day, a painting workshop was offered to children and their moms under the guidance of artist Halidou.

This creative activity allowed the families in attendance to enjoy a unique experience blending art, self-expression, and bonding. The children were able to let their imaginations run wild while their moms shared a special moment with them in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Beyond its fun aspect, this workshop helped create lasting memories for the participants while reinforcing the event’s family-oriented nature. It also helped attract a diverse audience and offered an enriching experience that went far beyond a simple exhibition market.

This initiative illustrates COMMAN-YA’s commitment to organizing inclusive events that promote women’s entrepreneurship, social connections, and intergenerational exchange.
